Joel Jarventausta wins second prize at the 2016 London Ear Festival
Congratulations to undergraduate Joel Jarventausta who has won 2nd prize in the London Ear Festival Composer’s Competition 2016. Joel’s solo cello piece racing thoughts was performed by Rohan de Saram on 11 March 2016.
The judges were composers Gwyn Pritchard, Andrea Cavallari, Sam Hayden and Editor-in-Chief of Verlag Neue Musik Berlin, Christoph Taggatz.
Carlos Zamora’s chor piece “O Magnum Mysterium” was shortlisted at the 2nd MICF Composition Competition in the Malta International Choir Festival.
